Condition: Very good tight copy with a little wear to edges of boards, minor bumping to corners, with moderate bumping to front right bottom corner. Front pastedown and ffep - some minor damage to inner spine. Staining to ffep (mirrored in back pages) Minor staining and foxing to ffeps and back feps. Very minor staining on title page. Internal pages tight, clean and readable with no obvious foxing, marks or damage except page 345, which has a small newspaper clipping (about someone who got swallowed by a whale in real life) from 1928 between the pages and this has caused some staining. There is also a small news clipping about Manhattan between pages 130 and 131, which has also caused some staining. Otherwise pages are very clean and bright. Binding very good. No inscriptions, etc.
