Original tan morocco boards with inlaid design and logos to front and back. five raised bands to spine with logos between. Red title block with gilt lettering to spine. Red marbling on pastedowns and end papers - very clean and bright. Bookplate on front pastedown - school prize awarded in 1866. Includes The Author's Apology for his Book, and The Author's Way (preface).
